I have been seeing a lot of card makers using the inking and stencil method for creating beautiful cloudy sky backgrounds, so I decided to give it a go!
I used the Lawn Fawn ‘Puffy Cloud Borders’ die to cut the stencil and chose the Tim Holtz ‘Tumbled Glass’ distress ink to do the inking. It’s so easy to do but gives stunning results!
I decided to use this for the background of my ‘Your Next Stamp’ card sketch challenge below.
When I saw this sketch, the curve at the top just said “speech bubble” to me 🙂 The image used is from ‘The Funny Farm Crew’ stamp set (#CD010) and coloured with Spectrum Noir Markers.
The sentiment is a wood stamp from Penny Black called ‘ the moos!’ (Not sure if you can still get it as I have had this about 10 years!)
Happy Crafting and see you soon xxxx
Absolutely moo-velous. Such a cute card and love how you used the sketch. Thanks for playing along with our challenge at Your Next Stamp.
