I thought I would share a card with you today featuring the new stamp set ‘Up on the Housetop‘ from Gerda Steiner Designs. This set has a lot of adorable images including some small elements that can be used with Gerda’s other Santa stamp sets and the little gifts could be used as birthday gifts, which makes it very versatile.
If you follow me, you will know that I like to make interactive cards and when I saw the cheeky little reindeer on this stamp set, I knew what I wanted to do 🙂
I used distress inks to create the night sky and tried out the Nuvo drops to add the snow. The images ahve been coloured using Copic markers and fussy cut and popped up on foam tape to add dimension. I didn’t want a lot of movement with the reindeer so i cut a little square out of the background just above Santa’s head and attached him with a double thickness of foam tape to s atrip of card that sits behind.

I love this! Super colouring and I love the images and idea of a reindeer on Santa’s head! The snow is very effective too.
