I’ve not done many Halloween themed cards as they are not as popular over here in the UK.
Having said that, more and more people are celebrating Halloween by dressing up and partying with family and friends…Let’s face it, us Brits don’t need much encouragement to party 🙂
There are so many great Halloween stamp sets out there, so I had to get involved!
This stamp set by Gerda Steiner is so fun and has some great sentiments, which could be used all year round!
The first card is a bit out of my comfort zone because of the dark distress inked background, but i have seen so many fantastic video tutorials on Youtube (especially @Tara Sell) that I thought i would give it a go…
The bats are coloured with copic markers (using BV markers…another first!) fussy cut and popped up on foam tape for added dimension.
The second card features the adorable spiders on their webs. As you can see, this could be used as a love or new friendship card.
Check out Gerda’s website here and see what delights are on offer…or maybe join in with one of the challenges…great way to add to your digital images…
Happy crafting and see you soon xxx
